Liam Doody and Rebekah Zelman, the principals of Blackcrest Development, are a husband and wife team from Haworth, NJ. Their architectural vision for each and every new project is based on the principle of “timeless architecture.” Rebekah, an agent with Coldwell Banker Alpine/Closter, majored in history and developed a love of American architecture and design. By blending classic concepts with contemporary elements, Rebekah and Liam aim to create tasteful spaces that will transcend our era. 

In addition to being a home builder, Liam has done site work for some of the most luxurious homes in Bergen County from the Frick Estate in Alpine, to Saddle River, to Tenafly and beyond. He began his professional journey the age of 16, working on skyscrapers in Manhattan with his father, a union carpentry supervisor. The benefit of working with a builder who not only has an understanding of the what it takes to build a quality home, but who has done the actual physical labor to build a home from the ground up, shouldn’t be taken for granted. The years of experience Liam has in the construction industry is what gives him an advantage when building the most architecturally sound home meant to last a lifetime.
